A saucerful of secrets: L'album venne registrato tra il 7.8.1967 e il 16.5.1968 agli Emi Studios di Abbey Road e ai Sound Techniques Studios di Chelsea a Londra. Il missaggio del disco venne effettuato ad Abbey Road il 15 maggio (versione mono) e il 16 maggio (versione stereo) 1968. Questo album rappresenta il momento di transizione dalla formazione con Barrett a quella con Gilmour.
